The Premier league title race last season was an incredible one between Manchester City and Liverpool. Both were well supported throughout from punters using the bonus code at 1bonuscode.co.uk. Manchester City will again start as the favourites as the look to win the Premier league for the third year in succession. Here we cover the top four sides likely to be battling it out at the top of the table.

Manchester City

The current favourites at 4/6 and for good reason, as they have produced two incredible seasons in succession. The 2017/18 victory saw them reach a record breaking target of 100 points as they won 32 of their 38 fixtures. This included losing just twice over the entire season. They also broke the record for the most goals scored as they finished with 106. Manchester City then put in a similarly impressive season last year as they finished on 98 points, winning the league by just a point. They scored 95 goals, whilst only losing four games over the entire season. If they can continue this form then it is clearly their title to lose next season.

Liverpool

Liverpool of course went on to land the Champions league last season, which was also their second final in that competition in succession. They also came agonisingly close to the title, having led for much of the season. They eventually finished just one point behind City, having picked up 97 points and losing just once over the entire season. Considering they had picked up just 75 points the previous season, shows how much they have improved. If the club can continue to progress then they will be very hopeful of finally landing the Premier league title next season. They are currently as short as 9/4 to do so.

Tottenham

Tottenham are another side who have progressed greatly, that saw them reach the final of the Champions league before the defeat to Liverpool. They will have taken great heart from this run and with them now in the new stadium, will be expected to progress further and start picking up some trophies. They finished last season in fourth spot but 27 points behind winners Manchester City, so have a huge gap to make up if they are to challenge. They can be supported at 16/1 for the title at present.

Chelsea

The final side worth a mention are last seasons Europa league winners Chelsea. They finished third in the Premier league last season, but overall they had a positive season, reaching two finals and picking up a major European trophy. Lampard is now likely to be taking over and they will be expected to challenge for the title in the coming years. Chelsea picked up 72 points last season, in which they lost eight times from the 38 fixtures. They have a huge task next season if they are to pick up the title as they finished 25 points behind runners up Liverpool. They can be supported at 25/1 for the title at present.
